ERS-Hosted Workshops

  • Dec 10-11, 2019

    ERS-Consortium CFO Strategy Network Event

The ERS-Consortium CFO Strategy Network is scheduled for December 10-11, 2019 in Fairfax, VA.

Large Countywide and Suburban District Consortium members face particularly complex challenges given the heterogeneity of schools across each district. This can be especially true with regards to financial transparency and understanding resource equity. Our CFO network helps CFOs drive real change in member districts. This group represents the leading edge of district leaders thinking about adjusting resources based on student need, and the conversations driven through this network are increasingly structured to support that work.

  • Spring 2020

    ERS-California CFO Strategy Network Event

Under California’s Local Control Funding Formula, California CFOs face a unique challenge and opportunity to achieve financial transparency and address resource equity across their districts. This CFO network helps CFOs in California districts grapple with the question, “What must a Strategic CFO know, do, and ask?” to drive real change in processes and practice, and is increasingly focused on supporting district leaders thinking about adjusting resources based on student need.

    ERS-Aspen CFO Strategy Network Event

Our CFO network helps CFOs develop the skills necessary to be a strong strategic partner to their Superintendents, CAOs, or Strategy Officers. The combination of peer advisory, expert engagement around common data, facilitated exploration of barriers and challenges, and cross-district collaboration is leading to real change in member districts. This group represents the leading edge of district leaders thinking about adjusting resources based on student need, and the conversations driven through this network are increasingly structured to support that work.
