ERS is proud to present the newest work of teammembers Jonathan Travers, Genevieve Green, and Karen Hawley Miles on effective school funding systems: Spare Some Change: Smarter District Resource Use for Transformational Schools.
This report appears in the publication, Pathways to Success for Milwaukee Schools alongside seven other bold strategies for comprehensive urban school system reform, suggested by leading educational thinkers. The publication is part of a two-year project by the Wisconsin Policy Research Institute to broadly examine the quality of life in Wisconsin; however the recommendations for system reform in Milwaukee will almost certainly strike a chord with the leaders of large urban school districts across the country.
