School districts across the country have been strategically allocating their ESSER funds to address immediate student need AND invest in long-term sustainability. Political leaders and others are now wondering how district spending strategies are translating to results, and how they compare from district to district. We have performed a deep-dive analysis of the spending plans from 24 predominantly low-income urban and rural systems across the country. We’ve put together a list of trends we found and identified specific implications and actions for district leadership teams to consider. |
