This issue reflects on how systems can support teachers. Featuring multiple examples from Louisiana (eight rural schools system re-organized people, time, and money to triple support for first year teachers, and the Louisiana Department of Education released a toolkit of state-specific resources), as well as ERS’ new Growing Great Teachers Toolkit. We also offer our thoughts on recent teacher strikes and look to states to increase education funding and to districts to use resource strategically and benefit teachers.
