Ben Beane

As Communications Lead, Ben manages the creation and distribution of ERS content and oversees the organization’s social media and email marketing strategies. He also cultivates online relationships with organizations and education leaders and utilizes data to make decisions surrounding content messaging and audience engagement.

Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Indiana University in his hometown, Bloomington. Shortly after graduating, Ben moved to Austin, TX, to work as a Community Content Producer for Gannett Co. He later left to become a Communications and Marketing Assistant with the Austin Independent School District, where he collaborated with schools to increase enrollment and brand awareness, as well as wrote editorial content for the district’s webpage. Ben moved cross-country to Boston in 2021.

Outside of work, Ben loves to explore neighborhood restaurants and shops, visit national parks, play basketball, and watch movies with his wife Jennifer and three pets (Ellie, Darwin, & Mara).
