Analyst
As a member of the Alliance for Resource Equity team, Ben assists with the development of the 10 Dimension Guidebooks, the planning and execution of the District Equity Leader Convening Series, and several other endeavors that contribute to ARE's mission to establish resource equity as a priority in the field of public education. Most recently, this has included examining the role of policing in creating safe school environments.
Originally from the U.K., Ben graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME before joining ERS. As part of his studies, Ben worked towards his Maine teaching license, analyzed the internationalization of higher education across Africa, and conducted various research projects on topics from test anxiety to physical learning environments. Ben also received a Bowdoin Public Service Fellowship to survey artificial intelligence policy in Washington, D.C.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys hiking, travelling, and catching up with friends. On the weekends, he can be found sailing on the Charles or exploring Boston breweries.
