Prior to that, Crystal taught sixth grade science at Neighborhood House Charter School in Dorchester through Teach for America. Crystal earned a B.S. in Biology from Emory University and an Ed.M. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the Boston University Wheelock College of Education and Human Development.
