Principal Associate
Emily is a Principal Associate at ERS. She is currently working with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to support a cohort of seven high schools in redesigning their schedules and staffing plans to align with student experience priorities.
Before joining ERS, Emily pursued a master's degree in Research & Evaluation Methods at Boston College's Lynch School of Education. During her studies, she supported the Lynch Leadership Academy with data collection and analysis for school-based equity audits and their school leader fellowship. Prior to graduate school, Emily worked for eight years at Boston-based education non-profit EdVestors, where she led measurement, evaluation, and learning activities across the organization. This included managing the annual $100,000 School on the Move Prize, aimed at disseminating best practices of the most improving Boston Public Schools. Her interest in K-12 education began during a year-long fellowship working at Match Charter Public High School.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring new coffee shops in the Boston area.
