Emily was most recently a member of the Baltimore team, where helped the district close its $130M budget gap and find solutions to address its structural deficit over the long term. She has also worked on Resource Mapping projects with Tulsa Public Schools and Buffalo, NY to analyze resource use and find opportunities to allocate resources more strategically. Next up, she is working on a study to understand the impact of various new teacher support programs in districts across the country.
Before ERS, she worked as a high school math teacher and 9th grade dean at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, MA. She also coached crew, both at the high school and for adults and kids learning to row on the Charles River.
Outside of work, Emily rows for the Community Rowing competitive women's crew team. She loves to compete and enjoys local sprint triathlons and road races.
