Erin is a member of the Alliance for Resource Equity team, where she supports the initiative's work to ensure that the allocation and use of school resources enables the success of all students, regardless of background or need. She is currently working to support states in effectively complying with the new per-pupil expenditure reporting requirements in the Every Student Succeeds Act in a manner that increases financial transparency and highlights resource inequities both across and within districts.
Before ERS, Erin graduated from the College of the Holy Cross and later the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she earned a master's degree in Education Policy & Management. She has worked with her hometown's school committee on issues related to accountability and assessment. She has also done research on access to higher education and co-founded a student organization for first-generation college students at Holy Cross.
Outside of work hours, Erin can typically be found learning new songs on guitar or piano, knitting or crocheting, or researching random trivia facts (or attempting to do all three activities at once).
