Greg Hills

Greg leads the Core Services team at ERS, which includes Strategy and Innovation; Finance; People; Technology; Administration; Operations; Legal; and Diversity, Belonging, Equity, and Inclusion. He is passionate about ERS’ mission to address the inequities in opportunities and outcomes in our school systems across the country.

Prior to joining ERS, Greg worked for 19 years at FSG, a global nonprofit consultancy that advises foundations, companies, and nonprofits on social impact strategies. He served as CEO for over four years and as a Managing Director for over ten years. Greg also worked as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Archstone Consulting and as Manager of Program Operations for the US-Asia Environmental Partnership, a USAID-funded international development program. Greg holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.A. in Government, cum laude, from Hamilton College.

Outside of work, Greg and his wife derive immense joy from watching their two teenage daughters compete on the basketball courts and tennis courts throughout the year. He also enjoys staying active through playing tennis, running, and taking long walks in the woods with his dog.
