Since joining ERS in 2019, Hayley has worked on the Alliance for Resource Equity team, a partnership between ERS and the advocacy organization the Education Trust. This project is bringing together advocates and practitioners to promote meaningful resource equity. Hayley has applied this resource equity knowledge to an "Equity Snapshot" analysis in Gwinnett County Public Schools, as well as internal work at ERS to more deeply integrate anti-racism and equity into ERS projects and practice areas. Hayley has also partnered with Hartford Public Schools to respond to the challenges of COVID, planning fall 2020 reopening and planning investments using federal stimulus funds that are aligned with district strategic priorities.
Before joining ERS, Hayley taught sixth grade math at Argosy Collegiate Charter School in Fall River, MA as part of Teach For America. Prior to that, Hayley worked at Altman Solon (formerly Altman Vilandrie & Company), a strategy consulting firm focused on the technology, media, and telecom industries. Hayley earned a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College and an Ed.M. in Curriculum & Teaching from the Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development.
Outside of ERS, Hayley enjoys trying new recipes, watching improv and stand-up comedy, playing lawn games, and cheering on the Boston Celtics.
