Isabela is a Principal Associate at ERS. She is currently on the Columbus City Schools project, where ERS is partnering with CCS to create a more equitable school funding model.  

Prior to joining ERS, Isabela completed her Master’s in Public Policy at the University of Chicago focusing on International Development. During this time, she interned at IMAGO Global Grassroots and traveled to Brazil to research the impact of COVID recovery policies on the Recife public school systems, where she was able to continue to develop her passion for education. Prior to getting her M.P.P., Isabela had an extensive career in business analytics at Market Performance Group, Simple Mills, Revlon, and L’Oreal where she discovered her love of data and visual storytelling. Isabela received her B.A. from New York University where she double majored in Economics and Politics and minored in Mathematics.  

Outside of work Isabela enjoys hiking and traveling with her partner, Josh, and their dog, Nox. She is originally from Brazil and frequently travels there to visit family and friends. She also enjoys cooking and baking, and nurtures her creativity through watercolor and film photography.
