Jamila Issifu

Jamila plays the key role in Operations Management at ERS, and she is the Executive Administrator to COO Greg Hills and Partner Ventura Rodriguez.

In her operations capacity, Jamila serves on the Staffing Team and supports its overarching goal of facilitating an equitable and transparent staffing process. She also has a knack for ensuring an efficient and positive office experience, and therefore enjoys her role in supporting the day-to-day office and facility management.

Jamila holds an MPhil in Public Administration from the University of Bergen, Norway and a BA in Political Science from the University of Ghana. After grad school, Jamila spent 6 months as a School Administrator in Cheerful Child School in Ghana before moving to the United States. Prior to joining ERS, Jamila was an Administrative Coordinator/Executive Assistant at VSA Partners (NYC) where she provided administrative support to a multiple person leadership team and provided operational support to a 30+ persons office.

Jamila enjoys Reggae Music and is an ardent Ghanaian food lover. She doesn’t believe in the Jollof wars as she likes to think of Jollof as a continental asset. However, none can take the place of Waakye – it is a Ghanaian National Pride.
