Data & Learning Lead
Jenny helps to ensure that partner district data is clean, accurate and standardized across all projects while also helping many individual projects with their resource equity analyses, including El Paso, Avoyelles, and currently Tulsa. She also supports the ERS Technology and ERS Data Management teams to ensure that the ERS data analysis platform is current and optimized for the needs of partner engagement. She is also a member of ERS’ School System Snapshot Team, an internal project to develop new tools that quickly assess districts’ level of strategic resource use.
Prior to ERS, Jenny worked at the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) where she was responsible for the evaluation of programs designed for prevention and intervention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). It was during this time that she discovered her “inner nerd” and love for data and database management, data analysis and programming. Before discovering her “inner nerd” she held a position at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, working on research projects that investigated the effects of medications for the treatment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity disorder (AD/HD).
Outside of work, Jenny spends most of her time chasing her two kids around the house and hanging out with her husband. Her pastimes include yoga, cooking, listening to podcasts, and binge-watching the latest popular TV series.
