Lois is a manager in ERS’ consulting practice and works with district and state partners in developing strategic resource use strategies. Most recently, Lois has worked with the state of Tennessee and the Syracuse City School District in New York. Lois is also responsible for managing the development of ERS’ School System 2020 resource use assessments and case studies.
Prior to ERS, Lois was a Research Practice Manager for an economic development research and strategy organization. She focused on assessing the availability of capital resources to businesses located in distressed urban communities and consulting local economic development organizations in increasing access to capital in low-income communities. Lois has also worked in the private sector as an equity research analyst covering the technology sector before attending Yale School of Management, where she obtained her MBA.
Outside of work, Lois, her husband and their daughter love to go for long bike rides on the Minuteman Bike Trail and explore new places to eat, particularly for breakfast and brunch, around town. Lois and her family live in Arlington, MA.
