Leadership Development Lead
Marguerite's career in education began by examining funding inequities in the Austin Independent School District for the Texas Civil Rights project. She then taught Special Education in K-8 public and charter schools in Texas and Colorado and worked for the non-profit, 1647, supporting districts with implementation of research-based family engagement practices. Most recently, Marguerite served Boston Public Schools by supporting the district and a portfolio of Transformation and Turnaround schools with a focus on strategic planning and continuous improvement. She is deeply committed to designing anti-racist and equitable systems, policies, and practices that our most marginalized students deserve. Marguerite holds a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Edward's University and a Master's in Education Policy & Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
She's excited be a part of the Leadership Development team at Education Resource Strategies to maximize support for the people and organizations working to support equitable and strategic resource use in K12 education. Outside of work, Marguerite loves spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and Goldendoodle, travelling, and finding inspiration from international cuisine.
