Since joining ERS, Nick has been a part of the ESSER Strategy and Toolkit team, where he supported the development of a curriculum that will be used to facilitate a cohort of school district leaders in Indiana and Tennessee on how to utilize their federal stimulus dollar strategically, equitably, and sustainably. Nick is also on the Fairfax County team, where his work is centered around analyzing school staffing formulas to ensure equitable allocation of resources and people across the district.
Before ERS, Nick graduated from Pomona College with a B.A. in International Relations. During his time there, he further developed his passion for the education sector through his work in the Office of Admissions as a tour guide, as well as with The Constellation Fund as a social impact intern.
Outside the office, Nick is an avid aviation-geek and enjoys watching planes at airports, staying active with sports such as ultimate frisbee or biking, and determining if Boston is a better city than his hometown of Chicago (P.S. he doesn’t think so).
