During her time at ERS, Pranathi has had the opportunity to support various district partners by providing input into strategic resource use to support equitable student experiences and outcomes. Pranathi currently partners with Tulsa Public Schools by providing analytical support related to portfolio, finance, school design, and enrollment. In the past, Pranathi has supported implementation of student based budgeting in Memphis (TN), conducted equity-focused resource maps in Montgomery County (MD), and diagnosed high-quality professional learning via customized “snapshots” in four districts. Working with these districts has been a privilege, as it has let Pranathi collaborate with passionate stakeholders who are working tirelessly to support students.
Pranathi’s interest in driving social change through systems-level thinking about inequity increased through her time volunteering and working at nonprofits, such as with Baltimore Corps, Thread, and Ashoka. Outside of ERS, Pranathi enjoys reading, hiking and spending as much time in the sun as possible, and attempting to bake delicious desserts.
