Principal Associate

As a Principal Associate, Preethika helps district partners make data-driven strategic decisions on how to best utilize their resources and create sustainable systemic change. Preethika currently partners with Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) to bolster their Rebuilding Stronger initiative. She is supporting the district through in-depth analysis of their resource use and school planning processes, facilitating training of school leaders in strategic school design, including scheduling optimization, and assessing implementation of flex time models within IPS. 

Prior to joining ERS, Preethika completed her Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, focusing on courses in education and finance policy, international development and data analysis. In graduate school, Preethika took an active role in the education policy community, facilitating workshops, informational talks, and career fairs as a board member of the school's education policy student association. Before embarking on her journey in education policy, she practiced as an attorney at esteemed law firms focusing on mergers & acquisitions.  

Preethika grew up in India and outside of work, enjoys reading non-fiction, leisurely walks by the river, meticulously planning her next trip, and cooking!
