ERS Team

Ryan Kelly

As a manager, Ryan currently serves as part of ERS’s High School Transformation team. This team produces research-based guidance to support districts in restructuring resources toward a reimagined high school student experience. Ryan also recently provided tactical assistance to Hartford Public Schools in their design of a new Intersession program as a strategy to combat the impact of the pandemic on student learning.

Prior to joining ERS, Ryan served as a math teacher and then middle school principal of Roxbury Prep Charter School, part of Uncommon Schools. He began his career as a teacher in the New Haven Public Schools as a Teach for America corps member. Ryan graduated from Clark University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned his Master of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys crossword puzzles, BBQ, and going on adventures with his wife and two dogs.
