In his role as an Analyst, Zach identifies key questions, processes and analyzes data, and frames insights in the context of district partners' needs. Recent work includes supporting the Alliance for Resource Equity and designing interactive dashboards to give school districts more insight into the many dimensions that impact student experience.
Prior to ERS, Zach developed a passion for education through his experience as a teaching fellow at Breakthrough, teaching Geometry in Miami. Zach graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan and earned his Master's Degree in Learning Analytics from Teachers College, Columbia. He has contributed to research in the areas of teacher mentorship, turnover in Chicago Public Schools, and classroom donation patterns. Having worked for schoolhouse.world and ClassLink, he is fascinated with how technology can improve the field of education.
