COVID-19: Financial Implications for School Districts

In addition to the impacts on student health, well-being and learning, the COVID-19 pandemic has created tremendous financial uncertainty for school system leaders. In this webinar, based on experience from the Great Recession and current economic forecasts, Education Resource Strategies (ERS) outlines potential financial implications for school districts and actions leaders can take for 2020-21 and beyond. Specifically, the webinar focuses on how school and system leaders can address students’ most critical needs in light of increasing financial constraints; the need to fundamentally reimagine school structures; and the role that support organizations, advocates, philanthropies and other K-12 partners can play at this crucial time.
